Consultation and Cake tasting

 

If you are interested in designing your very own bespoke wedding cake with us, we advise that you meet with one of our Cakeologists and have a consultation to talk through your wedding plans, style and initial ideas. The consultation includes a cake tasting for up to two people and you will be able to sample three delicious flavour combinations from our menu. There is a fee of £25.00 for all cake consultations which is deducted from the cost of the cake if you place an order. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require at least 48 hours’ notice. 

 

Delivery and collection 

 

The Cakeologists provide a delivery and set-up service at your venue, the price of this depends on the location of your venue, alternatively collection is also encouraged. 

 

Cake stands and cake knives 

 

We are able to hire out cake stands and cake knives. We require a security deposit and stands must be returned on a mutually agreed date after the event. Alternatively, you are also able to order your very own personalised cake knife as a wedding keepsake directly from your Cakeologist. 

 

Lead times 

 

To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book your cake 4-6 months in advance especially If you are having a summer wedding. However, we are sometimes able to accommodate last-minute request so please enquire to find out.
