Terms and Conditions

Classes

Class space is limited, so we must receive the payment in full at the time of booking in order to secure a place. Unless otherwise noted, masterclasses are intended for both novice and more experienced cake makers. However, should you have any concerns regarding the degree of difficulty of a masterclass or the required skill sets, please contact us at info@thecakeologists.com.

The Cakeologists will not be held liable for any travel and accommodation expenses in the event of any cancellations.

Cancellation Policy

The Cakeologists reserves the right to cancel any classes at their own discretion. In the event of this happening, The Cakeologists will give students as much advance notice as possible and students will be offered an alternative date for the same or a similar class. If the date does not suit the student, a full refund will be offered of the cost of the class only. If a student chooses to cancel their booking on a course, a full refund will be offered up to three months before the start date. Between three months, and fourteen days before the course start date, a student may substitute their place on the course for another student, though this will incur a £25.00 administration fee.

All refund requests need to be in writing and will be paid in full minus (if any) commissions paid to any third party (Bank charges etc.).

Classes have a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 3 or 4 depending on the class being taught. In the instance there is not enough bookings, we reserve the right to cancel the class and will refund the payment for the class or it can be put forward to another class.

Substitution is solely at the discretion of The Cakeologists and any decision made is final.

No substitutions will be allowed 14 days before the course start date.

Materials and Equipment

The Cakeologists will provide all materials and equipment required for the class, unless stated otherwise.

All tools and equipment used in the class remain the property of The Cakeologists and should not be removed from the teaching facilities.

Certain tools and equipment used during class may be available for purchase at the conclusion of the course.

The Cakeologists reserves the right to alter the Terms and Conditions at any time.
